Intermediate & Advanced Classes

Grover & Hera - intermediate skills

Intermediate Skills 201

This 6 week course continues the work began in your basic class and helps you progress toward a polite dog. Subjects include refining loose leash walking, solidifying stays, and working around distractions. We’ll also play games that simulate real-life situations.

If your dog is uncomfortable with the proximity of other dogs (barks or lunges) Wild Woofers may be a better fit.

Basic class experience is required. Cost is $135 per 6 week course.

Canine Good Citizen 301

This advanced course helps refine your dog’s manners, while preparing him or her for the A.K.C. Canine Good Citizen Test. Skills such as sitting politely for petting, greeting another dog, and walking through a crowd are the focus of this course, and the test will be given at the final class. Class experience and foundation behaviors are required.

Cost is $135 per 6 week course.
Also offered as an accelerated 4 week course for $100.

 Community Canine 401

AKC Community Canine℠ is the advanced level of the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen Program. This 6 week course will take place in a new location each week, practicing your dog's ability to behave as a polite citizen in all environments. The test will be given at the final class. Dogs must have passed the Canine Good Citizen test to be eligible for the Community Canine test, but do not need to have passed in order to take this course. It can be taken just for fun, too!

Cost is $135 per 6 week course.
