Puppy Classes

Classes take place at A Dog’s Life’s Learning & Enrichment Center - 455 Lake Michigan Dr NW Suite 15, Grand Rapids, MI 49534.

Classes meet for 4 weeks and cost $129 unless otherwise specified. Rolling enrollment classes will have overlapping start and end dates to provide added socialization and distractions.

We require the following vaccines: 2nd round of Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella, and a Negative Fecal Exam. Fecal exams can take a few days to process, so please plan accordingly.

Puppy Social Enrichment

Parallel play is a dynamic teaching tool for puppies up to 5 months old. It allows for observational learning, confidence building, and teamwork while also providing a foundation for stable social skills. These sessions provide novel experiences involving all senses in a group environment. Cost is $20 for current class members and $25 for non-class members.


Puppy FUNdamentals

For puppies up to 5 months old, this course will focus on building a solid learning foundation by teaching core skills such as Sit and Down, Leave-It, Stay, Recall, and Place. We will also discuss common puppy behaviors like nipping and jumping, and practice important social skills by allowing the puppies to interact and play while supervised.


Youth Next Level FUNdamentals

For puppies up to 8 months old that already have foundation skills and need more social and environmental practice for proofing. We will play games that simulate real-life situations and focus on working amidst distractions.


Puppy Agility

For puppies up to 8 months old, this class will go over sport foundation behaviors and exercises, and will begin introducing age appropriate obstacles. Great for building confidence and focus!
